Neminath Times

Neminath Times is tucked away in Shop No 2 inside the Jaya Complex. We are on the 1st Cross of Jayaram Pandit Street, which is right behind the Classic Colour Lab in Shivarampet. It is a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here, but once you find the colour lab, we are just a few steps away. Mysore is a bit slower than other cities, and we like that. Our shop isn't very big, but it serves our needs. We handle watches and timepieces mostly, hence the name. It is quiet work that requires a lot of patience and small tools. Sometimes we spend hours just looking at one tiny gear. The Jaya Complex is an older building, so it has a certain character to it. We don't have a big sign out on the main road, so we rely on people knowing we are here. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. They bring in their old clocks or wristwatches that need some help. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Shivarampet. We just want to do our work properly and keep the old clocks ticking. It is a nice way to spend the day, surrounded by the ticking sounds and the hum of the street outside. It feels more like a tradition than just a business for us now after all these years.
