Mysore District Tourist Vehicle Drivers & Owners Welfare Association is located at 238, 12th Main in Mysore. We are a group of drivers and owners who have been based at this address for a long time. Saraswathipuram is a quiet area, mostly residential houses, and our office is right near Javaregowda Park. It is fairly easy to find us if you are walking around the 6th Cross. Being an association means we look out for each other and the vehicles we own. There are a lot of tourist vehicles in the Mysore district, so having a central spot to meet up really helps us stay organized. The office isn't really anything fancy to look at, just a place where we handle our business and talk about the roads. Most of us spend our days driving people around the city or out to the hills for sightseeing. When things get busy, we come back here to Saraswathipuram to get our paperwork sorted and talk to the other members. It gets a bit crowded sometimes with all the drivers coming in and out, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve seen the city change a lot from our spot near the park. Traffic is much heavier now than it used to be years ago. Still, we keep doing what we do every day. If you need to find us, just look for the 12th Main sign and head towards the park area. We aren't always in the office because someone is usually out on a trip, but there is usually someone hanging around the 6th Cross.
