Kigga Engineering

You can find us over at Lokanayaka Nagar, right on the Hebbal Road in Metagalli. This building, 5-3-189, has been our home base for quite some time now. Engineering isn't really about shiny offices for us; it is more about the smell of grease and the sound of tools hitting metal. We spend the bulk of our time fixing things or fabricating parts that people bring in. The shop floor is usually a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. It is a local operation, and most of the guys working here live just a few streets away. We get all sorts of jobs, from small repairs to slightly bigger projects that take up half the floor space. People stop by because they know we are right here in the neighborhood. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth has always been enough to keep the lights on. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, or we just use the manual tools for a bit. It is honest work and we like the problem-solving part of it. Every day is a bit different depending on what breaks down in the local factories or what someone needs built for their house. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The traffic on Hebbal Road is always loud, but you stop noticing it after the first hour of the shift. It is just life in Metagalli.
