Kaveri Foods

Our place, Kaveri Foods, sits over in the Hebbal Indl. Area, specifically at 214/A1. It’s right near Rane Madras Road, so we get a lot of trucks passing by all day long. The area is pretty industrial, lots of grey buildings and the sound of machines everywhere. We’ve got a fairly simple setup here. Most of the day is spent handling the food products, moving crates around, and making sure the kitchen area is running like it should. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we’ve gotten used to the hum of the industrial estate. Sometimes the heat from the machinery gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons. We usually take our breaks near the entrance where there’s a bit of a breeze. We aren't a big fancy operation with a lot of suits; we’re just a bunch of people in Hebbal getting food ready to be shipped out. The road near Rane Madras can get pretty backed up, which makes deliveries a bit of a headache sometimes, but we deal with it. It’s just regular work for us. We show up, do the processing, and try to keep things organized in the warehouse. There’s always something to clean or a machine that needs a bit of oil, but that’s just how an industrial unit works. It is noisy and busy, but we get the job done.
