Jain Containers

Jain Containers is located at No. 78- G, Survey No. 105 in the Kiadb Hootgalli Industrial Area. It’s a big space because we need the room for all the containers we handle. Being in an industrial area means there are always trucks and forklifts moving around. It’s a dusty place and gets pretty noisy during the day. We’ve been here since the early days of this industrial park. Our work is pretty basic; we buy, sell, and move containers. We don't have any polished sales pitches or corporate slogans. We just talk to people plainly about what they need. Sometimes the yard gets a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, and it takes us a few days to get everything back in place. That’s just the nature of the business. The staff here are all local and we’ve worked together for a long time. Hootgalli has changed a lot, with more units opening up nearby, but our spot stays the same. We don’t spend much on advertising. Most of our work comes from people who know us or who have seen our yard while driving by. It’s heavy work and we’re usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. We just aim to stay busy and keep things moving. There is always a lot of clanging metal, but that’s just how a container yard sounds.
