Plot No. 64 in the Hootagalli Industry Area is where we spend most of our waking hours. Jain Uniforms is located in the E1/E2 section of that plot. It is an industrial vibe out here in Habbal. You can hear machines running from all the neighboring plots almost all the time. Our space is filled with big rolls of drill cloth and polyester. We have a row of sewing machines that keep a steady rhythm from morning until evening. It is not really a place for visitors to come and sit, it is more of a place for real work. We make uniforms for all sorts of places. Some days we are cutting fabric for hours until our hands are tired. Other days we are just sorting through buttons and zips. The address is a bit tucked away, so people sometimes get lost in the industrial estate. We just tell them to look for Plot No. 64 near the main road. It is a big area, and there is always something being loaded onto a truck or unloaded. We do not have any polished sales pitches or brochures. We just show the samples and get to work on the stitching. The tea stall around the corner is where we take our breaks. It is a simple life at Jain Uniforms. We deal with the heat and the noise because that is the nature of the industry area.
