City Safari Travel Services

City Safari Travel Services is located in Vontikoppal, right near the Vijaya Bank. It’s a handy location because everyone knows where the bank is, so we don't have to give too many directions. Our office is a small one, tucked into the streetscape of Mysore. We spend most of our time arranging trips and safaris for people who want to see the local sights or head out into the parks. The room is usually filled with the sound of a ceiling fan whirring away and the occasional ring of the landline. We have a few old maps of the wildlife sanctuaries pinned up, though they are starting to fade a bit at the edges. It’s a casual atmosphere here; we don't wear suits or anything like that. Usually, it’s just us in our everyday clothes, drinking water and checking the availability of vehicles. The street outside can get a bit congested during peak hours, but inside it stays relatively calm. We have a couple of chairs for guests, but they are mostly used for piling up newspapers and magazines. It’s a straightforward business where we focus on the logistics of travel. We know the roads around here pretty well, which helps when people ask for advice. It’s just a regular day-to-day life for us in Vontikoppal, keeping the safari bookings on track and making sure the drivers are ready to go. The desk is a bit scratched up.
