Bharath Drug House

We are situated right at Mig 15, which is just opposite the Corporation Bank in the 1st Stage of Kuvempunagar. If you know the area, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times while going to the bank or grabbing groceries. Running a drug house like this means we spend a lot of our time looking at boxes and checking expiry dates on shelves. It’s a bit of a routine, but people in Kuvempunagar rely on us to have what they need when they aren't feeling well. The shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot into the space we have. Sometimes the labels on the bottles get a bit confusing for folks, so we spend a lot of time explaining how many times a day to take something. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We see a lot of the same faces every month. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but being opposite the bank makes it easy for people to find us. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the inventory stays updated and the place stays clean. It’s hard work keeping up with all the different brands and names, but we manage. We just try to be helpful when someone comes in with a prescription they can't read. It's just a local business doing its thing.
