Ajay Photography

My studio is on Chatori Street in Jayalakhsmipuram. It’s called Ajay Photography. I’ve been taking photos around here for quite some time now. The studio isn’t very big, but it’s got enough room for my backdrops, a couple of chairs, and my lights. I spend a lot of my time either behind the camera or sitting at my computer editing shots. Jayalakhsmipuram is a nice neighborhood, and being on Chatori Street makes it easy for locals to drop in without much trouble. I don’t have a big team of assistants or a receptionist sitting at a front desk. Usually, it’s just me. I handle everything from weddings to simple passport photos for school or work. I try to keep things simple. I don’t like overcomplicating a photo shoot with too much gear if it’s not really needed. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but once the door is shut, it’s a quiet place to work. I’ve seen kids grow up and come back for their own graduation or wedding photos. It’s a local business, through and through. I don’t spend money on big advertisements or billboards. People usually find me because their neighbor or cousin liked the photos I took for them. I just want to capture things as they are without too much fuss or extra editing. It’s a decent living and I like the people I meet every day.
