Universal Engineering Works

You can find us over in Ward 12, right near the Jitwarpur Chowk. If you are coming from the railway station, we are just a short walk away, which makes it easy for people to drop off parts that need fixing. The shop is usually pretty loud because there is always some machine running or someone hitting metal with a hammer. It gets greasy and there is metal shavings on the floor most days, but that is just how it goes in a workshop. We have been sitting here in Jitwarpur Nijamat for a while now. Most people know us as the place to go when a piece of farm equipment or a truck part stops working right. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone just walks in through the front door with a broken hinge or a motor that won't turn. We take a look at it, see if we can weld it or machine it back to shape, and let them know when to come back. It is a small team here. We drink a lot of tea while we work and try to keep up with the repairs coming in. The humidity in the summer makes the shop feel a bit heavy, but the work has to get done. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a local engineering spot that stays open and keeps things moving for the neighbors.
