Ujjwal Tea Private Limited

Down in Muzaffarpur, specifically in the B.B Ganj area of Bhagwanpur, is where we handle all our tea. We are close to the Sadar police station, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find the place. Ujjwal Tea is really just about the leaves and the packaging. We spend our mornings checking the bags that come in. The smell of raw tea is quite strong when you first open the doors. It’s a nice smell to start the day with. We have a small crew here in Bhagwanpur. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just focus on getting the tea sorted and into the right packets. Some days the weather is really humid, and we have to be extra careful with storage. Tea doesn't like moisture, so we keep everything dry and off the floor. It is a quiet business for the most part. We load up the boxes and get them ready for the local shops. Sometimes we sit and have a cup ourselves just to make sure the batch tastes right. It’s not a complicated life. We deal with the same suppliers and the same local guys who do the hauling. People around here know us as the tea people. We just keep doing what we know. It is a steady rhythm of filling, sealing, and moving boxes. That's how we spend our time here in Muzaffarpur.
