Tirhut Real Honey Private Limited is based out of a house in Khemaipatti, Minapur. It belongs to Shankar Prasad. We are right here in the Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. It’s not a big factory or anything like that. Most of the work happens right here at the house and in the nearby areas where we keep our bees. People in Minapur know us as the honey folks. We started this because we saw a lot of good honey going to waste or being sold for very little. It’s a local operation. We don’t have fancy labels or a big marketing team. It’s just us trying to get the honey from the hives to the jars. The weather in Muzaffarpur affects everything. If the litchi trees don't flower well, we have a hard time. Our address is Muzaffarpur-843128. Sometimes the road to Khemaipatti is a bit rough, especially when it rains. We don't mind it much. We've been living here for a long time. Shankar Prasad has been in this house for years and it just felt right to run the business from here. It’s a Private Limited company on paper but it’s really just a family thing. We spend our days checking on the bees and making sure everything is clean. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to stay in Minapur and do what we know. It is simple work but it keeps us busy. We hope to keep doing this for a long time.
