Tirhut Dagdh Utpadak Sahakri Limited, which most people around here just call Timul, is based at the Muzaffarpur Dairy in P.O. Kahlua, Pagambarp. We are a cooperative, which means we work with a lot of different farmers from the area. It’s a community effort, really. Every morning, you’ll see people bringing in their milk, and then the real work starts. We’ve been part of the Muzaffarpur landscape for quite a while now. The dairy building itself is a big part of the local identity. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs. Our space is functional and built for work. There’s a lot of coordination involved in making sure everyone gets their fair share and the milk gets processed correctly. It’s not always easy, and there are plenty of arguments and discussions, but that’s what happens when you have a lot of people involved. We aren't looking to be some high-end luxury brand. We’re here to serve the local farmers and the people who buy from us. We try to keep our prices fair and our processes simple. The staff here mostly grew up in the surrounding villages, so they know the people we work with. It feels more like a big family than a company sometimes. We just show up every day, do our jobs at the dairy, and try to make things work for everyone involved. That is our life.
