Sri Kanti Raj Foundation

Our organization, Sri Kanti Raj Foundation, is located in the village of Mudah Chatur. This is within the Patehpur block of Vaishali district. We operate out of Smt Shanti Devi’s residence. It’s a typical village setting, so it's not like those big city offices you see on TV. We have a few chairs set up under a tree outside or in the front room when it rains. Most of the people around here are farmers or small shop owners, and we know almost everyone by name. We don't have a big budget or a team of professional fundraisers. It’s just a couple of us who wanted to help out with some local problems we saw. We spend our days going from house to house or meeting up at the local square to talk about what needs doing. Sometimes the work is slow because we don't have many resources, but we do what we can with what’s available. We don't have a lot of formal meetings. Usually, we just decide on things while having a cup of tea. It’s a very local way of doing things, and it works for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy titles or big offices. We are just local residents who care about Vaishali and want to make sure things get a little bit better for the people living in Mudah Chatur and nearby.
