Sree Om Masala Udyog Kendra

Sree Om Masala Udyog Kendra is right in the heart of Gadh Bazar in Khajurha. This area of Sonbarsa Raj is usually very busy with people buying and selling all sorts of things. Our spot is near Amrita, and you can hear the noise of the market all day long. We have a lot of heavy sacks filled with whole spices stacked up against the walls. The building is old and the rooms are quite small, but we have our machines set up in the back for the grinding. It makes a lot of noise when everything is running, so you can't really hear much else. We spend our time checking the quality of the seeds and making sure the grinding is done right. The floor is usually covered in a fine layer of spice powder, no matter how much we sweep it. It is just the nature of the work we do here. People from around the bazar often pop their heads in to see what we are doing or to just say hello. It is a very local kind of place where everyone knows everyone else. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big management team. It is just us and the machines in Sonbarsa Raj. We work until the market starts to close up for the evening and then we head home like everyone else in the bazar. Sometimes we stay a little later if there is a big order to finish, but mostly we stick to the market hours.
