We are located on the third floor of the Anupam Complex in the Sikandarpur area of Muzaffarpur. It is right in the middle of a very busy part of town, near the GPO. If you’ve ever been to Sikandarpur, you know the traffic can be a real headache, but being central makes it easier for people to reach us. The stairs up to the third floor can be a bit much in the Bihar heat, but we have a small cooler inside that helps a bit. Sparshhelp Foundation is a simple setup. We have a few rooms filled with files and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We aren't here to be a big corporate office. We just wanted a place where people from Muzaffarpur could come and get some help when they are stuck. Whether it’s something to do with health or just navigating local systems, we try to be a helping hand. We spend a lot of our time talking to people who walk in off the street. There is no fancy waiting room, just a few chairs and some old magazines. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated plans. We just take each situation as it comes. Sometimes we are working late into the evening when the market outside starts to quiet down. It’s just us, trying to do something decent for the community here. It’s practical, everyday work that doesn’t need a lot of showing off.
