We are based out on Jagannathpur Road in Shibrampur. The full name is Sohom India Tax & Business Solutions Private Limited. Dealing with taxes and business stuff is what we do all day. It is mostly numbers and forms. The office is at L/P 216/6/2, near P.O. Ashuti. It is a busy road sometimes, but our corner is relatively steady. We started this because we knew the local area needed someone to help with the paperwork side of things. It is not the most exciting work, but someone has to do it. We have a few computers and a lot of folders. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy when it is tax season. We just work through the pile. Everyone here is pretty down to earth. We talk about local news while we have our lunch. It feels like a small family here, even though we are a private limited company on paper. We do not have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, whoever is closest to the door says hello. We just try to get the math right and make sure everything is filed where it belongs. Shibrampur is a good place for us. Most people around here know us by name now. We are not trying to be anything we are not. We just provide tax and business help to whoever needs it in the neighborhood. It is practical work for local people. We keep the lights on and the calculators running.
