Shopiva Grocery

We have been running Shopiva Grocery for a while now over here at Daroga Rai Chowk in Sabejganj. It’s a busy spot especially since the Chhapra Railway Station is right nearby. Most days are pretty much the same. We open up early, sweep the front, and start putting things on the shelves. You know how it is in Saran, things get dusty fast so we are always cleaning. We carry the usual things people need like flour, oil, and spices. We don't have fancy lights or anything. Just a regular counter and some racks. Sometimes customers come in just to chat about the train schedules or the weather. My brother helps me move the heavy sacks when the truck arrives. It gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the boxes pile up in the corner. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’ve lived in this area forever so we know most faces that walk through the door. If we don’t have something, we usually tell people where else they might find it. It's a simple life running a shop here. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure the inventory is okay. The fan in the back makes a bit of a clicking noise but we’re used to it. That's basically us. Just a grocery store near the station doing our daily work.
