Starting off here in Dadar kolhua, things usually get moving pretty early in the morning. Satkish Buildcon Private Limited is run mostly out of Chandra Kishor Prasad’s place in the Tola Dadar area of Block Kanti. It is not some big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We spend most of our time out on sites, looking at dirt and concrete and trying to get things lined up right. Sometimes the weather in Kanti makes things a bit slow, especially when it rains heavy and the roads get muddy. We handle various building jobs around here. It is mostly about getting the materials delivered on time and making sure the guys know what they are doing for the day. Chandra Kishor stays on top of the paperwork when he can, but usually, he is out there where the work is actually happening. It is a lot of small details. You have to watch the supply of bricks and see if the cement is arriving as promised. People around Dadar know us just as neighbors doing work. It isn't complicated. We just take the jobs as they come and try to finish them so we can move to the next one. Sometimes things go smooth, other times we have to fix mistakes or deal with delays because a truck broke down. That is just how the construction business goes in this part of the world. We keep our tools at the site and hope for clear skies.
