Ratan Mobile Hospital

Ratan Mobile Hospital is situated out on Rewa Road in Bhagwanpur, near Saraiya. Even though the name says mobile, we have our set spot here where people know to find us. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks and buses passing by all the time, so there is always dust in the air outside. Our building is a simple one, mostly just a few rooms where we see people who are feeling unwell. We get a lot of travelers who stop by because they are feeling sick on their journey, as well as the local farmers from the surrounding fields. The furniture is mostly plastic chairs and a few sturdy wooden tables. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning in every room. We just use big pedestal fans to keep the air moving when it gets humid. We have a small pharmacy area where we keep the basic medicines people need. Life on the road is fast, but inside the clinic, we try to take our time with whoever walks in. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar and a few notices. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. People just find us by word of mouth or by seeing our sign as they drive down the Rewa Road. It is hard work, especially on the hot days, but it’s what we do. We just try to be a helpful stop for anyone who needs it.
