Priyanka Hardware

You will find Priyanka Hardware over in Ward No. 8 in Purnia village. We are right in the Banmankhi area, very close to the State Bank of India branch. It’s a good spot because almost everyone in the village knows exactly where the bank is. We’ve been running this hardware store for a while now, and it’s become a bit of a local meeting point for people. The shop is full of tools, pipes, and all sorts of things people need for their homes or for working on their farms. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to stock as much as we can. Sometimes you have to step over a roll of wire or a bucket just to get to the back of the store. We don't have a high-tech computer system for everything; we still do a lot of things by hand and write things down in a notebook. The village life in Purnia is mostly quiet, but our shop gets quite busy in the mornings. People come in looking for a specific bolt or a piece of equipment they need for a repair, and we help them find it. It’s not a big-city showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It’s just a practical store where things are a bit dusty but very useful. We know our customers by their faces and often know their families too. If we don’t have something in stock, we try to get it in the next shipment that comes in. It’s a simple business, and we are happy to be part of the community here.
