Prakirtivadi Foundation

Our foundation is located over in Shakti Nagar, specifically Ward 48 in the Kanhauli Bishundutt area of Muzaffarpur. It’s a bit of a long address but locals know the Ramna and Mithanpura spots well. Prakirtivadi Foundation is basically a group of us trying to do some good around here. We work out of a small office in the Mushari block. There’s always someone dropping by with questions or just to sit for a bit. We don't have a lot of money for fancy decorations so the walls are a bit bare. Most of what we do involves talking to the community and seeing what needs doing. It might be about nature or just helping folks out in the neighborhood. Some days are really busy and other days we just sit and plan. It's not a corporate setup at all. We wear regular clothes and drink a lot of tea while we work. My neighbor helps with the cleaning and another friend does the paperwork on the weekends. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of Bihar. People know us by name around here and usually wave when they walk by. It gets noisy with the traffic outside sometimes but we like being in the middle of things. We just try to be useful where we can. Sometimes we organize small meetings under the tree outside when the office gets too cramped. We don’t have a website with fancy photos.
