We're based in Mohaddipur, right here in Gorakhpur. If you know this part of the city, you know it's a pretty active place. Our office is where we manage the transmission lines that stretch across this region. It’s a lot of technical work, making sure the high-voltage electricity gets from one point to another without any trouble. We have a small group of people here who have been doing this for years. We aren't big on corporate talk or anything like that. Our day is usually spent looking at screens, taking reports from the field crews, and making sure the maintenance schedules are being followed. Gorakhpur has its own set of weather patterns that keep us on our toes, like the heavy rains during the monsoon season. We often have to coordinate with teams out in the rural areas when a line goes down. The office itself is pretty basic—just desks, chairs, and some filing cabinets full of technical drawings. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make us look fancy. We're just regular people doing a necessary job. Most of us grab tea from the stall around the corner and just get on with our tasks. It’s a decent place to work, and we take pride in the fact that we help keep the lights on for everyone in the area. It's just simple, straightforward work for us every day. We don't worry about much else. As long as the transmission lines are clear and the power is flowing, we've had a good day. It's not always easy, but it's the life we've chosen here in Mohaddipur.
