Our office is based in Muzaffarpur, specifically in the Mithanpura area on Narayanpur Road. We share the space near Bansi Niwas, which is a well-known point for anyone living around here. Being in Bihar, the weather can be a bit unpredictable, with lots of heat in the summer and some heavy rain that turns the roads a bit muddy. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place for us to keep our construction files and meet with the crew when they are in town. Narayanpur Road is usually busy with people going about their business, so there is always some noise coming from outside. We have a few desks and some old cabinets for all the project papers we have collected over the years. Ramna is a decent enough area to work out of, even if the electricity can be a bit patchy sometimes. We just deal with it as it comes. Usually, someone is here by 9 or 10 in the morning to open up. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at the actual sites, so the office is mostly a home base for the paperwork. It is a practical life here. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we would rather focus on the actual building work we have to finish. It’s just how we operate.
