Maa Vaishno General Store

Maa Vaishno General Store is a small shop located in Mohammadpur Village, within the Sakra Tehsil. Since it is a village store, we carry a little bit of everything because people can't always travel far to get the things they need. You can find soap, tea, snacks, and some basic medicines on our shelves. The store is quite small and the ceiling is low, so it can feel a bit cramped when more than two people are inside at the same time. We named it Maa Vaishno because it felt right for our family. Life in Sakra is slow and quiet for the most part, except for when the children come in after school to buy sweets. We know everyone in Mohammadpur by name, and we often hear all the local news before anyone else does. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon signs. It’s just a wooden counter and some old glass jars where we keep the loose items. Sometimes we run out of things if the supply truck doesn't make it on time because of the narrow village roads, but people here are patient. We open the doors early in the morning so the workers can get what they need before heading out. It’s not a big business, just a way for us to make a living and help our neighbors get their daily supplies.
