Out at Chakar Chock in Muzaffarpur, things get quite busy during the shift changes. Our office is right there in the middle of all that activity. We have been working out of this spot for a good while now. Most of our day is spent talking to the men about their schedules and making sure everyone has their uniform ready. It is not an easy job managing so many people across different sites. There is always someone calling because they are late or need a day off. We have a small table where we keep the registers and the duty rosters. Muzaffarpur is a big place with lots of factories and warehouses, so there is a lot of ground to cover. The fans hum in the background while we try to figure out the next week’s plan. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a short break, but usually, it is just constant paperwork. It gets dusty being so close to the main road, but that is part of being in Chakar Chock. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local security outfit. Our guards are mostly men from the nearby villages who need the work. We try to keep things organized as best as we can without too much fuss. It's a plain office with simple goals and a lot of logbooks to fill. Every morning starts early here, checking who showed up and who didn't, just keeping the daily routine going.
