Kalp Vriksh Gramin Vikash Nidhi Limited

Our office for Kalp Vriksh Gramin Vikash Nidhi Limited is located at Fakira Tower. It’s in B-block at Bb Ganj, right on the NH 28 in Mushari. Fakira Prasad Yadav is the one who runs things here every day. Being on the highway means it’s easy to get to, but it also gets a bit noisy with all the trucks and buses passing through. The tower is a well-known building in this part of Muzaffarpur. We have a decent space where we keep all our files and meet with the locals. We work with the village people mostly. They come to us when they have a little extra cash from their crops or if they need a small loan for their business. We don't have any of those automated machines. We do things by hand and with a simple computer. It’s a friendly place. Sometimes we have to move the chairs around to make room for everyone when it’s a holiday or a big market day. We don’t wear suits or ties here. Usually, it’s just plain clothes and a lot of talking. We like to listen to what’s happening in the lives of our members. It helps us understand what they need. We’ve been here for some time and the neighbors know us well. If you’re driving down NH 28, you can’t miss the sign for the tower, just look for the big gate.
