About Human Rights Initiative Foundation – Charity & Non Profit Organisations in Muzaffarpur
This place is in Muzaffarpur, specifically over in Bank Colony. You have to head toward Akharaghat Nazirpur and look for the Gaytri Mandir. We are pretty close to that temple, so you can usually hear the bells in the morning if you’re here early enough. The office is at Mohit’s place. It’s a standard residential area, so it doesn’t feel like those big corporate buildings you see in the city center. Ahiyapur police station isn’t too far off either, which helps when people are looking for directions. The streets here can get a little crowded, especially during the festive seasons. We spend most of our time just handling paperwork and talking to people who walk in. There’s no big receptionist or anything. You just walk in and someone will probably be sitting there with a cup of chai. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. We’ve been in this part of Muzaffarpur for a bit. Most of the neighbors know us by now. It’s a decent spot. Not too noisy, but not completely silent either. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever comes across the desk. Nothing too complicated. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the temple landmark and you’ll find us easily. It’s just a regular group of us trying to make things work in our own way and helping out where we can.
