Nemani Woollens

Nemani Woollens is situated on Bank Road over in Doma Pokhar. It’s a quiet enough spot most of the time, though it picks up when people are out doing their errands. We mostly deal with woollen goods, which means our shop is usually full of soft textures and heavy bundles. It can get a bit stuffy in the summer when the wool is just sitting there, but when the weather turns cold, this is the place to be. We’ve lived around here for a long time, so setting up shop on Bank Road felt like the natural thing to do. The place isn't very big, and we don't have any fancy displays. We just put things out where people can see them and feel the quality for themselves. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the cars go by when things are slow. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the stock well. We’ve learned a lot about different types of wool over the years just by handling it every day. It’s a simple life, and we aren't looking to change much. We just want to keep providing what we have to the folks in Doma Pokhar. If you’re passing by the bank, you’ll probably see us. We’re just a local business trying to stay busy and keep things moving. It isn't complicated, but it keeps us on our toes.
