Dharam Printers

Dharam Printers is a small setup in Mohalla Shekhpur. We are right near the post office in Ahiyapur, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are out running errands. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a plain door and some windows that let in the morning light. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with paper and the big printing press that takes up a lot of space. We spend our mornings checking the ink levels and making sure the rollers are clean. There is always a layer of fine dust that settles on the ledges no matter how much we wipe it down. People from around the neighborhood walk in with all sorts of things they need printed, sometimes just a single page and other times boxes of stuff. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how the machines act when they get too hot. If you come by in the afternoon, you might find us sitting on the stools near the entrance having some tea. The noise from the street carries in, but we’re used to it. We don't do anything flashy here, just the regular work of putting ink on paper day after day. It can get pretty busy around the holidays when everyone needs things done at once, but we just take it one job at a time until the lights go out and we head home to our families.
