Baba Tea

Baba Tea is situated right at Zero Mile in Muzaffarpur, which is a very busy spot because of National Highway 19. We are in the Ward No. 13 and 14 area, and the railway station is just a short walk away. Because of the location, there is always a lot of noise from trucks and trains. We’ve been running this tea business for quite a while now. Our place isn't fancy at all. It is basically a big room where we store all the tea chests. We spend our days weighing out tea and packing it into smaller bags. It is a lot of manual work and your hands usually end up smelling like tea at the end of the day. We don't have a marketing team or a shiny brand. Most people just stop by because they see our sign from the road. It can get very dusty being so close to the highway, so we are always cleaning the counters. We have a couple of guys who help us move the heavy stuff. It is a straightforward business, really. We just buy the tea, pack it, and sell it. We don't have any big corporate plans. We just want to keep the shop running and take care of our regulars. It is a busy life here at Zero Mile. Some days the heat is tough, but we keep the fans going. It’s just us doing our daily thing.
