We set up here in Arazi Dharpharitola because this part of Paroo block is where we live and breathe. It is a quiet village, mostly farming and small shops, and you see people struggling with simple things every day. Meena Devi is the one who helped get this going at her place. It isn't a fancy office with big desks or anything like that. Just some chairs and a lot of talk about what needs fixing around here. We spent years watching how hard it is for families to get basic help, so we figured we might as well do it ourselves instead of waiting for someone else to show up. It is mostly just a few of us from the neighborhood. We don't have a big budget, but we know everyone in the panchayat. If a neighbor has a problem, they just walk over to the house and we see what can be done. It is a slow process, honestly. Some days we get a lot done, other days we just sit and plan for the next week. Life in the village moves at its own pace and we try to keep up with it. There is no point in trying to be something we are not. We are just local people trying to make the days a bit easier for the folks around Arazi Dharpharitola and the surrounding blocks. It’s hard work but it feels right to do it for our own people and friends.
