Sun Nirman Infrastructure I Pvt Ltd is based in Saifi Colony in Muzaffarnagar. We’ve been here in U.P. for a good stretch of time now. The office is just a regular place in a residential-feeling area. It’s not a big glass building. It’s more like a house that we turned into a workspace. We have a few rooms filled with desks and maps. Most of the guys are out on sites during the day, so it can be quite quiet in the mornings. Then everyone comes back in the afternoon and it gets loud with everyone talking at once. We do a lot of infrastructure work, so there’s always someone coming in with mud on their boots. It’s just part of the job. We don't really do anything polished. We just write our reports and plan the next day’s tasks. The neighbors are nice and we often see them when we step out for a break. We handle a lot of local projects around the district. It’s tough work sometimes, especially when the weather isn't cooperating. We’ve had the same sign out front for years and it’s fading a bit. We don't mind. It’s more about the work than how the office looks. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the piles of paper on our desks. It’s a good group of people here, and we just do what we can to keep everything on track each day.
