Shanti Hospital

Out here in Village Tamnavili, near Khatauli, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Our hospital has been part of this landscape for quite some time now. We are located at pin code 251201, and most of the local farmers and families know the way here. It’s a basic setup, really. We have a few rooms and the necessary equipment to handle what comes our way. Being in a village means we see a lot of different things, from farming accidents to seasonal fevers. We don’t have a massive team, just a handful of us who live nearby and care about the place. We try to keep things as simple as possible. No one here wears those stiff, uncomfortable suits you see in city offices. We just wear our scrubs or regular clothes and get to work. The building itself is sturdy, though it shows its age in some spots. We don’t mind that. It gives the place a bit of character. People often drop by just to ask a quick question or get a bandage changed. We don’t have a complicated filing system; we just remember people. It’s a lot easier that way. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have a generator to keep the important stuff running. We are just a local hospital trying to be there for our neighbors in Tamnavili. It is a humble life, but the work we do here feels important to us.
