Shakumbhri Expo Impo Ltd.

Our place is out at Green Woods Complex, right near the 5 Km Stone on Makarpura Road in Vadodara. If you know where Mewar College is, we’re pretty close to that. Shakumbhri Expo Impo Ltd. is basically where we spend most of our lives. It’s a big complex. Finding No. 4 can be a bit tricky for new drivers sometimes because the layout is a little confusing. We do both exporting and importing. That means we have stuff coming in from the ports and things going out at the same time. It’s constant. The office has a few chairs and a lot of filing cabinets. We aren't big on decorations. Vadodara heat is no joke, so we have the fans running all day long. I usually grab tea from the stall nearby before we start the morning shift. We handle a lot of logistics. It involves a lot of checking manifests and making sure the counts match. Sometimes a shipment is late, and then everyone is stressed. Other days, things flow smooth. We have a few guys in the warehouse who’ve been with us since the start. It’s a practical setup. We don't do much advertising; the work just comes in through the usual channels. Just a regular business day for us. The trucks line up outside the gate, and we get to work.
