You can find Saifi Cold Drink in Amirnagar Village, which is part of the Baghara Tehsil in the Muzaffarnagar District. Our shop is located right near the Masjid, so it’s a very central spot for the people who live around here. Life in the village moves at its own pace, and we’ve adapted to that over the years. We mostly focus on providing cold drinks to the locals and anyone passing through the area. During the summer months, the shop gets quite busy because the heat in this part of the country can be really something else. We spend a lot of our time making sure the refrigerators are running well and that we have enough ice when the power goes out, which happens more often than we’d like. The shop isn't big, just enough room for the coolers and a few benches for people to sit on for a minute while they have their drink. We don’t really do any fancy marketing; people know we are here because they see the crates stacked outside or they hear the hum of the cooling units. It’s a family-style environment where we know most of our customers and their families too. The work is simple but it’s important for the community, especially when it’s dusty and dry outside. We just keep the drinks cold and the doors open from morning until the evening prayers are over. It’s an honest way to make a living.
