Working here in Muzaffarnagar at Patel Nagar is mostly about keeping the operations running. We’ve been at 893/2 Munim Colony for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always something going on with the sponge iron side of things. People around here know the area well, it’s not too far from the main road. Most mornings start early with the staff showing up and checking the schedules. We deal with a lot of heavy material, so the yard gets pretty dusty, especially in the summer months when the U.P. heat hits hard. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a practical place where we handle the paperwork and talk to the drivers coming in and out. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s when we take a short break. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to for the billing. Most of the day is spent out back or on the phone coordinating stuff. It can get a bit loud with the machinery, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s a straightforward business, nothing too complicated about how we run things day to day. We just try to get the orders filled and keep the machines from breaking down too often.
