Oriental Structure Engineer (P) Ltd

You can find us over in the village of Baoli, near the Goppi area in Baghpat. We’re set up at Prem Singh’s place. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s where we do our work as structural engineers. Being out here in the N.C.R. but away from the main city noise gives us a bit of a different perspective on things. We focus on big construction projects, mostly the kind of stuff that helps the region grow, like roads and large structures. We don’t have a big corporate headquarters with a reception desk and fancy coffee. It’s just us, some tables, and a lot of technical drawings. We’re local people mostly, and we understand how things work around here. The work is physically demanding and we spend a lot of our time out in the fields or at the construction sites rather than sitting behind a desk. It’s a lot of dirt, noise, and heavy machinery. We don’t really go in for marketing or trying to sell ourselves. We just do the engineering work that needs doing. Sometimes it's a struggle with the local logistics or getting equipment moved through the village roads, but we make it work. It’s a straightforward life. We take pride in the fact that we’re building things that will still be there for the next generation. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't mind the dust too much, it's just part of the job we chose to do.
