Kumar Engineering

We are located in Purkazi, which is a small town in the Muzaffarnagar district of U.P. Our workshop is right by the Madina Kiryana Store in the Sabji Mandi area. Being near the vegetable market means it is always busy and loud outside our door from early morning. Kumar Engineering is a place where we fix things and handle mechanical jobs for the locals. We have a lot of tools lying around and there is usually some grease on the floor. It is not a clean, polished laboratory; it is a real workshop. People bring in their pumps, motors, or tractor parts and we see what we can do to get them running again. We have been in this spot for years, so everyone in Purkazi knows where to find us. We don't have a fancy sign or a big marketing plan. We just rely on the work we do. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the crowds in the mandi when things are slow. It is a quiet life in a way, despite the noise of the town. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to use the lathe and the welding kit. We do our best with what we have and keep the machines going for the farmers. It is honest work and it keeps us busy through the seasons.
