Chaudhary Baru Singh Foundation is based out here in Shoro Khatauli. If you're looking for us, we are located with Shokender. The foundation carries the name but we just treat it like any other local responsibility we have. There isn't a team of PR people or anything like that writing this. It’s just us. We spend our days dealing with whatever comes up. Shoro Khatauli is a small spot, so everyone mostly knows where everyone else is. We don't really have a front desk or a lobby. It's more of a functional space where the actual work happens. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized, but we manage to get through the list of tasks. We focus on the things that matter locally. The name on the door is Chaudhary Baru Singh Foundation, but to the neighbors, we're just part of the community. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s practical work. If you find Shokender's place, you've found us. We like the pace of life here. It allows us to focus on the foundation without too many distractions. It's just a simple setup for simple goals. We've been here for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon. There is always something to do in a small town.
