You’ll find us at 398, Gali No.11, Gandhi Colony. It’s tucked away in a residential lane, so it’s much quieter than the main roads. Most of our neighbors are families who have lived here for ages. We aren't a big chain or anything like that; we’re just a local spot where we keep a variety of books on the shelves. The shop is part of the community, and we see the same faces almost every week. We don't have fancy lights or a big glass front. It’s a simple room with plenty of stacks to go through. Sometimes the delivery truck has a hard time getting down the narrow gali, so we end up carrying boxes by hand. We do our own cleaning and organizing, so things might not always be in perfect alphabetical order, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit of a slow pace here, which we like. We spend time talking to people who come in, often about things that have nothing to do with books. It’s just a small, local business trying to stay useful to the people in the colony. We don't have a big website or a lot of staff. It’s just us, some shelves, and the daily work of running a store in a quiet neighborhood where everyone knows each other’s names. We stay open until the street lights come on in the evening.
