We’re located at Shop No. 2 in Ganga Plaza Market. It’s right on Meerut Road in Muzaffarnagar. If you know the market, you know it’s always crowded and there’s never enough parking. Being in a shop unit means we’re right in the middle of the action. We handle overseas trade, but our daily life is very much local. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and checking the local markets. The plaza has all sorts of businesses, so there’s always people coming and going. It’s noisy and sometimes a bit chaotic, but that’s just how Muzaffarnagar is. Our office is small. We’ve got samples tucked into corners and stacks of documents on the desks. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets it. Most of our work is making sure the quality of the goods we send out is what was promised. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking. Sometimes we have to head out to the factories nearby to see things for ourselves. The summers are tough with the heat on Meerut Road, but the winters are nice. We’ve been at this for a while and we just take things one day at a time. It’s just us trying to keep the business steady in a busy market. We don't have time for fancy presentations, we just focus on the actual trading and getting things shipped.
