Kala Digital Studio Photo Live

Our studio is located right inside Muthalamada. This is where we do all our photography and digital work every day. If you need some pictures taken for an ID card or maybe something special like a wedding, we are usually around to help out. The lighting in the room can be a bit tricky depending on the time of day, but we have figured it out over the years. People from all over Muthalamada come in for their prints and photos. We have some old cameras sitting around the shelves too. It is not a huge place, just a workspace with a desk and some different backgrounds we use. Sometimes the printer acts up and we have to spend time fixing it, but we get it done. Most days it is just us waiting for customers to drop by with their memory cards or their phones. We do passport photos pretty quickly. You just sit on the stool and we take a few shots until one looks okay. Digital technology has changed things a lot lately. We remember when everything was done with film, but now it is all on screens and computers. It is a bit easier now, I think. We try to stay organized but there are always stacks of photo paper and envelopes everywhere. It is a busy little corner of Muthalamada. You can find us easily if you are in the main part of town.
