Ambedkar S C Mutually Aided Labour Contract Co-Op Society

Our society is over at 1-7-1022/9/17/37 in Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Nagar Zamisthanpur. We are right in the Ramnagar Musheerabad area of Hyderabad. It’s a cooperative setup, specifically the Ambedkar S C Mutually Aided Labour Contract Co-Op Society. We have been here for a long time. The office is usually full of people coming in to talk about work or check on their contracts. It gets loud and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we’ve all just gotten used to. We don't have any fancy marketing people. It is just us handling the labor side of things. Some days the paperwork is a mountain and other days it’s just a few pages. We know the neighbors and the local shops well. Hyderabad heat is no joke, so the afternoons can be a bit slow when everyone is hiding from the sun. But usually, there is a lot of movement. We try to help our members find good work. It’s a simple goal. No big mission statements or anything like that on the walls. Just some old calendars and a lot of folders. The furniture is a bit worn out, but it does the job. We have our tea together in the morning and talk about what needs doing. It’s a community thing more than a corporate business. We just do our bit every day to keep the contracts moving and everyone busy.
