You can find Sumit'S Studio Of Arts And Graphics on the ground floor of Aswani House. We are right in Guru Nanak Nagar, which is a pretty decent spot to be in. The studio is usually a bit of a mess with papers, sketches, and computer parts laying around. We do a lot of our work on the screens, but there’s always some physical art stuff happening too. Since we’re on the ground floor, people often peek in through the window to see what we’re up to. The lighting in here isn't always the best, so we have a few extra lamps scattered around the desks. It gets pretty busy during the middle of the day with people coming and going. We don’t have a receptionist or anything, so if someone walks in, one of us just looks up from the computer to help them. Guru Nanak Nagar has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a small part of it over the years. We spend a lot of time just focusing on the details of the graphics we’re working on. Sometimes we stay late when a project is taking longer than we thought it would. We’ve got a small fridge for cold water because it gets stuffy in the office during the summer months. It’s not a corporate setup, just a group of us trying to get the art right.
