Watch Hospital

Our shop is right by the Barua Rail Gate in the Barabazar area of Beldanga. It is a spot where there is always movement because of the train gate and the people heading toward College Road. Murshidabad is a busy place, and Beldanga feels right in the middle of it all. We have been working out of this small space for quite some time. When you walk in, you’ll see shelves stacked with clocks and boxes of tiny spare parts. We handle everything from basic battery changes to more complicated stuff like fixing the balance wheel in an old pocket watch. The noise from the rail gate becomes part of the day here. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when a few people come in at once, but we just manage. We don't have any fancy marketing or big posters. Just a workbench and our tools. It's a practical place for people who need their watches to tell the right time again. We see a lot of students from the college road area too. They usually want their digital watches fixed quickly. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what is too far gone. There is no point in pretending a watch is worth fixing if it isn't. We just sit here, do the repairs, and watch the town go by through the front door. It is a steady life in a busy market area where time keeps moving.
