Vitran Human Development Foundation

We’re located at 17/2 Mahesh Sarkar Lane in Khagra. It’s a small, narrow street, and if you’re not looking closely, you might walk right past the entrance. Khagra is a place with its own character, and Vitran Human Development Foundation is tucked right into the middle of it. We’ve been here for a bit, and the building has that old, lived-in feel that you only get in this part of West Bengal. We don’t have a flashy website or a big team of experts. It’s just us, working out of a couple of rooms, trying to figure out how to help the people around us. Human development is a big term, but for us, it just means helping the person who walks through the door next. Whether it’s advice, a bit of training, or just connecting people with the right resources, we do what we can. The street can get pretty crowded with vendors and people going about their business, which gives the place a lot of energy. We like the noise and the busyness of Mahesh Sarkar Lane. It reminds us why we’re here. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We’re just a local foundation that cares about the folks in Khagra. If you ever find yourself in our lane, stop by. It’s nothing fancy, just a few chairs and some people who are willing to listen and help out where possible. It's just how we feel things should be done when you're working in a place like this.
