Varosha Construction Private Limited is located out in the village of Panchgram Dakshin More in Kishorpur. We operate from a small place c/o Basar Sk. It is a very rural area in Murshidabad, so things are much slower and quieter than in the big cities. We don't have a fancy office building. It’s more of a home office where we keep our tools and books. Most of our work is building houses and sheds for the local people. We know everyone in the village, so our work comes mostly through word of mouth. We don't spend money on advertising. My brothers and I do a lot of the manual labor ourselves along with some hired hands. We use a tractor and some basic machines for our jobs. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down in the summer. We take breaks under the trees and talk about what needs to be done next. We don't have fancy suits or even a proper sign out front. People just know where to find us if they need something built. We try to use good materials so the buildings last through the monsoons. Life here is simple and our business reflects that. We just want to do a good job so we can keep working in our community. It’s not a complicated business, just bricks, mortar, and honest sweat. That is how we live.
