Usha Martin Limited

Our setup is a little different because we are located in Murshidabad, specifically in Kandi at Radhabazar. We are operating out of the place of Sisir Kumar Nath. It is a very local feel here in West Bengal, far away from the big city noise of Kolkata. The pin code is 742137, and the post office is right nearby, which is handy for all the mail we have to send for Usha Martin Limited. The office is really just a simple room with some wooden tables and chairs. It gets quite dusty because of the roads nearby, so we are often wiping down our desks. Life moves a bit slower here compared to industrial hubs. We start our day when the shops in the bazaar start opening up their shutters. There’s no big glass building or fancy elevators. Just a door that stays open to let some air in. We handle the local side of things and keep track of whatever comes our way. People who come by usually stop for a chat because everyone knows everyone in Kandi. It is an honest way to work, and we don't feel the need to make it sound special. We are just a small part of a larger company, doing our bit in this corner of the district. It is quiet, it is dusty, and it is where we spend our time. Most days are just about finishing the logs and making sure the files are put away before we lock up for the evening.
