Despite the name, we are actually located way out in West Bengal, in a village called Dacca Bich Kandi. Our post office is in Ekghoria and the police station is Barwan. It is a very different vibe from a big city. We are in the Murshidabad district, pin code 742173. It is a quiet place where you can hear the birds and the wind through the trees more than you hear cars. Getting here takes some time because the roads are not like the highways in Gujarat. You have to pass through a lot of green fields and small clusters of houses. Our building is a simple structure that fits right in with the rest of the village. It is not a tall glass tower or anything like that. We have been here for a bit, and everyone in the local area knows where we are. Sometimes the power goes out when it rains hard, so we just wait it out or use some backup lamps. It is a slower pace of life compared to the big cities. We handle our daily business without much fuss. The neighbors often stop by just to say hello or ask how things are going. It feels more like a community than just a place of work. We keep our records in simple folders and try to stay organized, even if things look a bit cluttered sometimes in the corner of the room.
